Pasta Bene was born in 1980 when a conversation about making homemade ravioli around the Albanese family holiday table gave life to a fledgling business. The very first product created and sold was what many called "the best homemade cheese ravioli money could buy."

Slowly the business grew from a rented corner of a retail cheese shop, to the current 5,000 square-foot location. The product list of homemade specialties grew from that first ravioli to a wide variety of homemade, hand-filled fresh and frozen pasta products and prepared foods.

In 1997, the dining room was opened and the restaurant was born. It grew and flourished, and in 2001, Caffe Bene was added, along with the lounge, for expanded evening dining.

And throughout all the years and the many changes, the restaurant continues to build on that first simple idea: original product made fresh every day, one at a time, by hand. And it's still the best homemade ravioli money can buy.
